Santa Clara, CA — June 26, 2025 — Exostellar, a leader in Self-managed, Al Infrastructure Orchestration, is proud to announce that Andrew Tan, a visionary in AI infrastructure and cloud computing, has joined its Board.

Andrew brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale systems—shaped by impactful roles across research, engineering, and product strategy at institutions like HiTA AI, Google, and Katana Graph. As Managing Director of Salience Capital and A&E Investments, he has focused on identifying emerging technologies and supporting leading teams in computing and AI. His insights will be instrumental in guiding Exostellar’s mission to transform how compute is provisioned, optimized, and scaled.

“The GPU is the new compute currency of AI. But the way we access and manage it is broken,”said Andrew. “What Exostellar is building—a truly software-defined, intelligent layer to virtualize and optimize GPU infrastructure—is the future. It’s the architecture AI has been waiting for.”

A New Era in GPU Strategy

Exostellar’s Self-managed, Al Infrastructure Orchestration platform is already turning heads—used by teams pushing the limits of GenAI, chip design, and scientific computing. But the challenge ahead is bigger: turning GPU infrastructure from a fixed asset into an intelligent, dynamic, programmable resource layer.

That’s where Andrew comes in. With deep insight into both the hardware pipeline and cloud abstraction layers, his guidance will shape Exostellar’s strategy across product, platform partnerships, and global expansion.

“Andrew brings a rare ability to see where AI infrastructure is going—and how to build for it today,” said Tony Shakib, Chairman and CEO of Exostellar. “His perspective will sharpen the edge of our current platform and help us stay ahead as demands grow more complex and global.”

Architecting the GPU Economy

Andrew will work closely with Exostellar’s leadership to help shape the future of GPU Orchestration—one that demands portability, utilization, and cost-awareness at scale. With global demand for compute skyrocketing and traditional GPU access models failing to keep pace, Exostellar’s vision—software-first, workload-aware, cloud-agnostic—has never been more urgent.

“We’re not building around GPUs,” said Andrew. “We’re building through them. We’re constructing a layer of intelligence that finally lets software lead the way—across cloud, on-prem, and edge.”
